Paying Your Bill
Invoicing Process
- After your first clean, you’ll receive an invoice notification via email.
- Click the link in the email to view your invoice online, and make sure you are registered for the client portal so you can see and pay your bill anytime.
- A surcharge fee of 2% will be applied when using a credit card for payment on your account. For your convenience, you are welcome to avoid fees by using either check or ACH.
- Your invoices will arrive one day after your clean is completed.
- Balances that are unpaid after the payment deadline are subject to a fee of 2% on the owed amount every month, charged weekly until the balance is paid.
Payment Options
You have two choices for paying your bill:
Manually, each time, through the client portal or through the link provided to you when you receive your invoice.
Using auto-pay, set up here in the client portal.
If you use auto pay, we will automatically charge the amount you owe for the cleans we perform to the payment method you choose.
Billing FAQs
Your bid is our goal, and best guess of how long it will take to clean for you. And – priorities and houses, and the amount of people and furry beings in a house, change over time. SO – there may come a time when we need to adjust your bid. There may also be weeks when you need more or less. Again, we will always try to stay with your bid time, and we will notify you if we are going over your bid by more than 15 minutes.
How is my monthly rate determined?
From clean to clean – there may be a few dollars more charged one week, and a few dollars less showing up on your next clean’s invoice.
- if your cleaner wraps up their work a couple minutes before the bid time we gave you – we don’t charge you for this time.
- Conversely, if the cleaner takes a few minutes more because an extra dust bunny showed up – we will also bill for those few minutes.
- Our goal is to get as close as possible to your bid time, that has not changed.
- We will not go over 15 minutes without your approval.
If a clean is cancelled following our Cancellation Policy, your account will be credited for the cost of that cancelled clean.

You mentioned auto pay… how do I do that?

- Next, go to the client portal, which you can find at the link on every page of our website at the top right, or click the link on your invoice.
I’m not getting my invoices.
Hmm. Have you added [email protected] to your contacts list? Have you checked your Spam or Junk Mail folder?

Should I tip my Betty?
Any client can tip their cleaning person using our client portal at any time.
A core value of Two Bettys is putting our cleaners first, which includes paying cleaners a living wage.
A gratuity for every service is not necessary or expected, but is always welcome. We have clients who give their cleaner a tip, gift, or special treat at the end of the year or after an exceptionally amazing clean.
Please do not include a monetary tip with your payment to Two Bettys.
